So what is Paper.li? A (very) short introduction
Paper.li is a content curation service. It enables people to publish newspapers based on topics they like and treat their readers to fresh news, daily.
We believe that people (and not machines) are the ones qualified to curate the content that matters most. We also think that these same people can greatly help their own communities to find their way through this “massive content world” we live in. We’re here to help!

It can also help you connect with others in your field. When I’m tweeting, I almost always include one or two hashtags. That way, I can connect with people interested in the same topics. But what you might not realize is that by using hashtags, you might get picked up in someone’s Paper.li. I have been featured in papers covering everything from beauty to stamp collecting. What I appreciate about that is I get introduced to a whole new audience and I can follow the other contributors, whom I might not have known about otherwise.
In an interview with Paper.li, Fran Melmed, Co-founder of CoHealth and publisher of the. Co_Health Daily, explains the benefits of using it for her business:
“The Co_Health Daily is one way we deliver information to our community. It helps me and others to keep on top of all of the news that’s out there, and in a more aesthetically pleasing way than via a Twitter stream. I also like that people can subscribe to it, as I know many of our members aren’t on Twitter. They can get the Paper.li sent to their inbox.”

To start off with this is my basic header or title of Keywebco Daily Edition.
Under the title you find a small tool bar. Notice a cool feature in the tool bar is that you can scroll through previous editions of the newspaper. Also everything has RSS feeds which can be very useful.
Under the headlines, you can choose several different topics to create your own and at the bottom, you will notice the hashtags those chains randomly.
It has the ability to subscribe with different services available to do that I use the built-in one that came with it. And of course it’s completely social media integrated with sites available to add icons to follow and like and comment.
In the paid version you can add Clickable links to advertising, goods or services.

One thing that is very important to mention unfortunately when the paper opens each category only shows a few articles from each section you must hit the drop-down menu to see additional articles. Each section at the bottom has a link to see all articles related to that topic more than just the ones generated in the preview.

It offers a video which works very very well.
One of the best features about having an auto-generated newspaper that correlates all data every 24 hours as you get people wanting to see what’s going to be published next or stay current with what’s new.
It works by picking up content from different sources you tell it, curates them and publishes a simple digital newspaper which can be circulated on your network who are interested in this content.
For example, let’s say you are maintaining a blog related to traveling and you have some follower base that is very much interested in the topic and also follows your blog and it’s social media channels. Typically you cannot write content consistently about the topic daily. If you don’t write content daily you lose touch with your followers and they may unfollow you thinking that you are inactive. So to solve that problem you can use paper to engage them with the content they will be interested in.
Also, there is one more side to this. Let’s say you have a good following on Twitter with a lot of followers and you follow them. Paper allows you to pick up tweets from your followers and retweets them mentioning all those people. In this way your twitter handle is engaging with the other person and also you are giving free publicity to the other person’s content which will be great.
So, on the whole it won’t get traffic directly to your website but, it surely will increasing your brand name and customer engagement.
Another use case is for small businesses who are using Paper.li as a content marketing tool. If you’re not familiar with “content marketing”, it’s an approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly-defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.
I like it for its focused topics. Whatever your industry or interests, you can gather together a number of different sources and get personalized news delivered whenever you wish. This is helpful if you’re trying to find out information on a certain topic, say Ebay. The #eBay Daily has been compiled through the hashtag #eBay. So instead of having to cull through a number of different users using that hashtag, you can get it all in this one location. And because you can subscribe, simply by entering your email address, you’ll get the gathered daily news and information mailed directly to your inbox. No more searching required!
